How to quickly disable hyper-v

You can disable Hyper-V without deinstalling it. Start a command prompt with administrator rights and execute the following command:

bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off

Reboot windows. Hyper-V is disabled now. If you want to enable it, then run this command:

bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype auto

and reboot again

Remove a wireless network at Windows 8

In Windows 8 there is no way to remove a wireless netoword form the GUI. In order to do so you must use an elevated command prompt.

To open an elevated command promt, just press the WINDOWS and X keys together and then click on Command Prompt (Admin). Click Yes to the User Account Control message that appears.

To show all wireless profiles on the PC at the command prompt, type:

netsh wlan show profiles

To delete a profile at the command prompt, type:

netsh wlan delete profile name="ProfileName"

Show the key of a Wireless network in Windows 8

In Windows 8 and 8.1 there is no way to see the key of a wireless netoword form the GUI. In order to do so you must use an elevated command prompt.

Fix IIS listener when changing IP address of the server

When you change the IP address of an IIS server then sometimes the listener is stuck to the old IP address. In order to change this follow the below commands.

1. To see what IP addresses is currently listen run:

netsh http show iplisten

2. To delete the address run:

netsh http delete iplisten ipaddress=X.X.X.X

3. To make the listener listen to all addresses run:

netsh http add iplisten ipaddress=0.0.0.0

4. To make the listener listen only to a spesific address run:

netsh http add iplisten ipaddress=X.X.X.X

(where X.X.X.X is the IP address)

Fix Unlicensed Office 2013 Error

This is a simple fix to repair a licensed copy of Microsoft Office 2013 that keeps appearing as an unlicensed copy. This generally occurs with subscription licensing through Office 365.

1.	Make sure all Office programs are closed. This will ensure the script runs properly.
2.	Open the Command Prompt as Administrator Click Start and in the search field type “Command” and right click the Command Prompt to Run as Administrator.
3.	Navigate to the Office Installation folder %ProgramFiles%Microsoft OfficeOffice15 Depending on whether the install is 32bit or 64bit will determine its location.
4.	Run “cscript ospp.vbs /act”. The output should end with “Product Activation Successful”.
